MEET SILVER BETA/ GAMMA/ JENN/ GENN MY *NEW* BETA FISH

So today I arranged with jenn to pick up her beta she was giving me.

It's raining here. Started right before we left the house. I had seen the weather was talking about an advisory. May get snow sometime tonight. I get nervous driving in the dark. Roads are crappy. Can't see the lines when the roads are wet, and I have night blindness. My vision is washed out when brightights shine into eyes. Do driving on wet weather kinda freaks me out. 

Lucky for me , my husband took this week off from his second job (ups) because he's on call with his main job (FAA). 

So, I had him come with to take Daniel to work and pick up fishy from Jenns place.

So Daniel got dropped off for work and we head over to Jenns to get the fish .

I walked up the steps knocked on her door. And was welcomed in and shown around and given not one but.... TWO fish tanks! One has fishy on it, the other has a.... YELLOW submarine in it! 

Gotta love that color! 

Light on the top.... Changes colors! How cool is that!?!? 

The tank silver is I'm has a separator so I come put both my betas in there and they can't get to each other. Jenn said she'd use it when she was cleaning her fishy tanks out. Good idea! 

I also got bubble makers and tubing  for the tanks. Plus the rocks and plants (fake) as well !

She gave me fishy food too!

While I was the she have me my Christmas present! So close to my birthday too! Lol

So, I open it and it has in it was a Christmas ribbon, a silver snow flake streamer, an ornament for a tree, and the best thing....

A small plush orangutan. She told me to name him Pringles. 

I has told her unread online that Pringles used palm oil in their products and that takes the forestry down that orangutans live in. And make the babies have no mammas, causing orphaned orangutans. So, jenn agreed to give up her fav chips (just happened to be Pringles) to help me help the environment. 

What a great friend! 

Since then I looked for myself at the ingredients and found nothing about Palm oil in them and let her know that tonight . The Pringles ban has been.... Lifted! She can eat them and not feel bad about the orangutans environment. 

Raman noddles? Still on the ban list! Lol can't touch those  without it effecting those innocent sweet baby faces

I think I will put Pringles on the dash of. My car. So when jenn sees my car she can see her gift she gave me. :)

Oh and I changed Silvers name. I was gonna nickname him Jenn I still am, I'm just changing the spelling to: GENN ( to keep in line with my personal Greek  alphabet, lol)

I BECAME A REBORN GORILLA AUNTIE YESTERDAY!!!

whats a reborn? i can just see your asking that..lol

a reborn (doll) is a doll kit thats been sculpted to look as realistic as possible, (head & Limbs) painted to near realisticness, and weighted (in a cloth body) to feel and flop about when picked up and cuddled (it doesnt move on its own) as if a real baby.

allot of kits out there, far too many to be able to say, unless im being specific.

and, today i am.

i got into reborning, because a site i visit frequently, and buy from often, has Chimp, and Orangutan reborn kits. blanks, you can paint, and/or root yourself. put together with a cloth body, give eyes (if open eyed kit) and love till you co crazy..lol i went and got both sets, 2 chimps, and 2 orangutans.

BountifulBaby.com  had those 2 kits, and recently, within the last year, maybe a bit longer, now, released a set of Gorilla Kits.

when they were on sale, i ordered them for myself, because i wanted them, naturally..as i am a PRIMATE lover, and gorillas are the top of the list for me.  so, i own them.

they still sit, in the unopened box, on the side of my desk, i pass them several times a day.

recently, a connection on Facebook, announced to me, that she was REBORN EXPECTING (and all that means is a doll is in the process of being made) and it was a SLEEPING GORILLA she was getting, and thought it may be a girl. wasnt sure yet.
asked me for some names for her new baby.
so i went and found some names for her, sent them all to her...

and last night, she showed me her little baby sleeping gorilla reborn!
and..i became a REBORN AUNTIE!!
(my 1st, by the way, no ones ever invited me to be a reborns aunt, not sure why, but i never have been called one to day, until yesterday)

so, because she came to me, and asked for names, and showed me pics, i thought id make her a cover for her to use, if she wanted to...

im in the process of making something for this little bundle, its super secret HUSH HUSH!!
no showing of it till mamma gets it, and shares her own pics of what it all is. but i was up last night, most of the night working on parts of it..i have several items that will be part of the package, and the babys lucky! i have the kits, so i know the size of everything..lol (makes it so much easier as well)

i was given a special little something in my email, i wont speak of her, but it was something i has been wanting for some time, and finally got! couldnt thank Sage, enough for that small tolken of appreciation! it has been added to my collection!

so, heres to baby Gorillas, and Primates everywhere! even if they are reborn dolls!

I FINALLY FELT GOOD ENOUGH TO GET CHARGED BACK UP SPIRITUALLY!!!!

So, for 2 nights in a row...(didnt last a third, sadly) i actually slept 6-8 hours!
i am guessing my body REALLY needed that.
well of course it did, i have been battling a severe cough for about 12 1/2 weeks.
started the very 1st weekend in november and i still have lingering issues with it, just not bad enough i feel like im gonna die for the cough itself.
so, for 2 nights straight, i slept, and i slept hard, and i slept good!
(seriously wish i could do more of that, not sure why i cant, but its just never in the cards for me much anymore)

as aresult, the 1st day after the 1st full rest, i noticed, i wasnt hacking up a lung anymore!
2nd say, after ny 2nd full rest, i was even more healed!
that was yesterday, so, i decided i was feeling good enough to go to church.

so, today i walked back in from 3 months of being away..WOW! thats a long time!

so glad too! i miss church.
was great to be able to  be doing what i like to be doing, and i didnt think id hand this crazy sickness off to anyone...

as a result of shoeing up, i had 3 ppl hand me stuff!
ppl love me..lol (or they tolerate me, lol, one or the other, lol..whatever it is, it works for me when i get things!! LOL)

1st on the list was a young lady who had posted in a Mormon FB sale/trade/give away page some  LOOM KNITTING Plastic rings she has had that she was giving away, and i just happened to see the post just after she had posted it, and i asked for them, so today she had those for me, and its great i got them, id drool over them at the store, and craig would always think they cost too much and never get me a set, he did get me a yellow one one time, and i still have to figure out how to use them...since i dont knit, i crochet, these gice a KNITTED look to whatever it is thats being made form them..

so, i have these now, so thankful for generous ppl...and answers to silent prayers/ :)

next was an enevelope. i took a pic of the back, because the front only had address info on it, nothing really spacial, but the  envelope is from a sister who i ADORE!!! and she always thinks of me when she sends her letters off to me.

in my church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints AKA: Mormon), the womens auxilliaray has a set up where every female has a set of 2 females who visit them at least once a month. and this lady (Joan) has been mine for 7 of the 8 years i have lived here. 1 year we did it together. and then she went back to being my Visiting Teacher (thats what the set of ladies are called).
anyway, shes been sending me letters for a while now, mostly because shes out of town in texas allot visiting grand babies and family. but she NEVER forgets to make sure she writes...i at least get that from her. to be honest, shes a far better VT (Visiting Teacher) Than i am, lol..shes been at it allot longer, maybe thats why. lol

i always like getting her letters, cause she always has something special on it, or in it, or something for me espeically. and i like that. makes me feel loved, and...well, loved...lol lets me know she thinks of me enough to go out of her way to do something for me, i like...
this letter, was no different.
so, heres the back of it before i opened it. hated to open it too, cause i was gonna rip that sticker up, so i figured a way of doing it and not ripping it, craig thinks im nuts cause i wont damage the sticker...well, its..special, means something to me. and.,..hes a guy, hell tear into anything if its guy related, he wont care..lol
somethings are just..special and shall always remain so, with me.

heck i keep letters, i have letters still from when i was a child, and a teenager, and cards i got as a kid for birthdays and stuff...and, i have kept every letter i have been given by this wonderful woman!

Came all the way from guam! I put it on over my dress, cause i wanted to show i appreciated the thought.

How cute is that? Lol 

And another confirmation i am loved, and thought of. Even hundreds of miles away. 

Did a little family history..noticed on Ancestry.com you can now import your family from facebook on thrre. Thats pretty cool. So i did. I have allot of family on my cousins side i didnt even know i had, so ill have to gather those names up at somepoint. 

Today was a good day.
